Gmail Data

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we access your email messages solely to help you track communication history with your networking contacts. We request only the minimum permissions needed for this functionality.

Google User Data Disclosure Weaver's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell this data to third parties.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the Weaver service
Display your contacts, follow-ups, and communication history
Sync and display relevant emails from your connected Gmail account
Generate AI-powered summaries of your call notes
Process subscription payments through Stripe
Send you follow-up reminders and service notifications
Improve and develop new features

4. How We Use Gmail Data Specifically

When you connect Gmail, we access your email data only to match emails with contacts you have saved in Weaver. Specifically:

We read email metadata (sender, recipient, subject, date) and message content to display relevant communication history on your contact pages
We do not use your email content for advertising or marketing purposes
We do not sell, share, or transfer your Gmail data to any third party
We do not use your Gmail data to train AI or machine learning models
We store only the data necessary to provide the email tracking feature, and you may disconnect Gmail at any time

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls to protect your information. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — for processing payments
OpenAI — for generating AI-powered call note summaries (only the content you submit for summarization is sent)
Google — for Gmail integration (OAuth authentication only)

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
